Shame on them

I stayed at Econo Lodge #0035 in September, 2007 and stupidly, forgot my pillow when I left. I contacted them when I got home both through Choice Hotels by e-mail and with them by phone. Because they are "independently owned" Choice Hotels couldn't help me get my pillow back. And the hotel never called me back as they said they would. It cost me nearly $100 to replace my foam pillow. All I wanted was to pay them the $10-$12 to mail it back to me. But no one would help me. I realize it was my mistake in the first place, but it is my property and someone else has it! Shame on them... I won't ever use a Choice Hotel again.
