Princess Tegucigalpa, Tegucigalpa

I had my wedding reception in this hotel when it was called the princess. In my opinion the hotel back then (in 2000) was over-all a better place. Since becoming the Clarion, I have stayed there and observed some of the rooms could now do with a refurb. During my stay at the Interncontinental I found a higher standard of service compared to that of the Clarion. However I think this is an excellent value hotel with a nice bar and as mentioned in another review, the resturant is very good. I will use the Clarion again on my next visit to Honduras as it beats the Intercontinental on value for money.

Don't believe what carl from London, UK said about the Clarion hotel. For crips sake everything in London is old and needs to be refurbed. He just walks around now thinking everything needs to be refurbed, he can't help himself cause where he comes from the whole dang place needs to be refurbed. Back in Clarion, Iowa where Clarice and i live (im Ralph)the old Clarion Motel looks as good as it ever did. I met Clarice there one night many years ago in the pub. Well we shacked up in room #9 and have been together ever since. we go back every year on that same night and celebrate with Bud Light and smoked fish while we watch Dr. Zivago on Tv. Ol #9 looks as good as it ever did, no refurbing needed! But the carpet is gettin a little crusty (long pile green shag-my favorite). Still got my favorite menu item in the cafe to "Bushs Country Style Baked Beans". So to Heck with Carl. Ralph & Clarice
