Hyatt Chicago Magnificent Mile, Chicago

Not very user friendly. The hotel layout is awkward, lobby is on the second floor, and there is no one downstairs to greet or help you. We were expecting a decent room (corner king/junior suite) and were disappointed with the lack of amenities. There is not a room safe, no internet (you can purchase wifi thru AT&T hotspot for $10.95/24 hr period), no information on the hotel/room service, etc in the room. Everything just seemed old and outdated including the pullout couch, lamps, alarm clock, and tv. The location was convenient, but not worth the price in my opinion.

I would definitely recommend staying at the Wyndham. It's an excellent location, near a lot of tourist attractions and easy to get to other locations in the city. The concierge was also great, he recommended some excellent places to eat and got us deals at them. The only possible negative to this place (and it didn't bother us all that much) is that it's very close to a hospital so there are a lot of ambulances coming and going, so if you're a light sleeper that may be a problem.

First of all, the hotel rooms were extremely dated. Plus the beds are not comfortable at all. The check in was on the second floor and was confusing.

This staff went out of their way to make my family comfortable and our trip to Chicago an outstanding one! Brit in sales went above and beyond to make the American Girl experience at the hotel one my girls will never forget. After a mix up, Drew & Steve at the front desk searched every where for the requested baby bed for my 10 month old, finally having to borrow one from another hotel, & personally delivering it to our room. The concierges were amazing at quickly putting together itineraries that were fun, easy to navigate, and affordable. The bellmen were gracious, friendly and always smiling. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. The pool & hot tub area was a little small, but my children did not notice. Very nice fitness center with a great view of the city.

Room was ok, service for car was terrible, they dont want to tell you when something is wrong, cover up with they are busy....very unhappy. Try to get some resolve and get the run around. Will not stay again.

I gotta say this hotel really was great! P.S. if you use SweetHotelDeals. Net for booking this hotel they usually have some pretty good hotel deals at this time of the year!

This hotel was awful. I would never go back here! It was over priced and everything about it was not good. There are many other places in Chicago for a better rate and better quality!

The room was big enough to fit 3 adults comfortably. Location is strategic and everything was great about it.

The Wyndham is in a great location and walking distance (or short cab) to everything the city can offer. It is one block off of Michigan Avenue and right in the middle of all the shopping you can handle. I have stayed at many other hotels in the area and have paid allot more for the same ammenities and location. Like I said, great hotel and great value.
