The Lodge at Running Y Ranch, a Holiday Inn Resort, Klamath Falls

My wife and I had a chance to visit the Running Y in mid March '05 and knew that the weather was going to be iffy. Well it snowed, but mostly at night and was not much left by morning. Great place for golf and for tennis, unfortunately we didn't do either. Crater Lake was about a 90 minute drive north, unfortunately the snow is banked very high and had only one vantage point of the lake. Klammath Falls the town is about a 15 minute drive. Not a whole lot to do in March, but found it very relaxing. Our 1-bedrrom condo unit was very comfortable. The main lodge is all hotel rooms and not sure what they were like. The concierge was very helpful and the desk was very prompt and courteous. Kinda wierd that the RCI condo interchange company posts pictures of homes in the area versus the actual condos in their advertisements. They do sell home lots in the area. Not sure if we'd go back due to the lack of activities in the area other than going to the movies and shopping Walmart!
