This hotel met our expectations of a Holiday Inn Express. It's funny what makes a difference sometimes. What struck me the most was the ease of connecting the computer - an outlet halfway up the wall at the desk. I also like a wired connection, which the Pendleton HIE has, much better than unsecured wireless ones, although we generally have the agreement where we sign our lives away if we get hacked. If we didn't know we were in Pendleton OR, the hotel art told us we were in a hotel. New York? San Francisco? Bankok? We really like local art in hotel rooms. A nice place to stay, and yes, if the rates stay good, we'll be back.
 
 
 
 
 
Stay away from rooms 208/210

Mostly ok but... I was in room 210 my 1st night and kept hearing very loud mechanical noise for 4-5 minutes repeated every 20 minutes. Called desk and they were very nice, asked what room I was in and then said, oh, that must be the boiler, we just had some muffler work done on that. We will move you to a different room tomorrow. I was pleased that they did move me, but as I passed the desk the next night I overheard a gentleman complaining to the desk clerk about the noise in his room, #210. I believe they put people in there to get at least a night at a time out of it. That is very bad.
 
 
 
 
 
This is the best hotel in the area!

This is the second time that I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. It is my favorite hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is helpful, and the food is the best. This hotel is the best!!

Holiday Inn Express, Pendleton

Motel is very new. Beds were very good. Bath was large, a real plus when traveling with my wife. Breakfast was better than typical. Had a pool/spa but I did not use it. Staff was very competent.
