I dont want to go back anymore
By ,
This hotel does not provide basic hotel facilities, eg. no room service, no kettle, no mini-bar, no business centre, and one miserable computer for all to use at a rate that are not economical at all. The hotel is dim with no live in it.

Unique Hotel a Delight!
By ,
I expected the ordinary, and I got the extraordinary at the International House. From the fresh flowers on my desk, to the thick, fluffy towels, to the original photographs of New Orleans musicians on the wall, this hotel aims to make your stay something very special. The stainless steel sink and the granite counters let me know that style took precendence over cost in the planning stages. I loved the upscale music that filled the lobby. Every morning I went down for a complimentary cup of the most delicious coffee I've had in a long time. It was a delight to relax there before starting my day. My stay at the International House ended just days before Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. I pray that the hotel and all the wonderful people who work there have survived. C.A.

The BEST of New Orleans!
By ,
My husband and I stayed here for Mardi Gras a few years back, and it was AWESOME. We also stayed at the Ritz-Carlton, and definetly prefer this hotel over the Ritz any day! The rooms are beautiful, huge windows in front of the bed over-looking the city, The bed is huge and very soft with tons of pillows. The bathroom is great-2 person walk-in shower with full-body shower jets. I could go on and on about the rooms here. lol The bar on the first floor is beautiful, candle lit tables at night and soft couches/chairs. And yes, the service was great. Everyone was VERY hospitable and helpful.

Refined Debauchery
By ,
An amazing combination of elegance and subtletry, this place pratically sizzles with the tantalizing mood of the city. Every detail is considered, from the uber-stylized lounge/bar to the luxuriously comfortable surroundings in the visitor's room and bath to the understated, yet stunningly intimate feeling of the lobby and other public places (yes, even the restroom is elegant!). The subtle jazz tones of the place welcome every guest and the visit is punctuated with wonderful coffee, and a highly courteous and professional staff. Just 3 minutes from the French Quarter, the casino, and just about everything else in New Orleans, the hotel provides convenience, affordability, and quietly tasteful accomodations to the discerning traveler.

A great pleasure
By ,
I get to travel to New Orleans 3 or 4 times a year. I have stayed at all the major hotels - chains and New Orleans classics. A couple of years ago I stumbled upon the International House and whenevr I need to hit New Orleans I first check to make sure I can get a room at one of my favourite hotels of anywhere before I book the flight. Great service, great people, location that is close to everything but far enough away to make the entire stay comfortable. A unique experience that you will always want to come back to.

Wonderful Palce to stay near the French Quarter without all the noise!
By ,
Wonderful place - great value and location! Fun and modern boutique style hotel. Lots of charm and great service. I have stayed at the International House over a dozen times and my company stays there while traveling on business to New Orleans. I have never been disappointed!

Our Place to Stay in New Orleans
By ,
We found this hotel a few years ago when we needed a room on short notice. The International Hotel was able to acommodate us immediately at a reasonable cost. We were thrilled when the taxi let us off and we were greeted by attentive people who escorted us into the beautiful hotel lobby. Our room was clean, decorated nicely and had everthing we needed. This trip was our fifth stay, and next year we are planning to return again.
