Short Staff was Short on Training as well

After being informed about the housekeeping schedule upon check-in, I thought nothing more of it UNTIL MY ROOM HADN'T BEEN CLEANED FOR EIGHT DAYS--which was CLEARLY outside the implied cleaning schedule. On the evening of the eigth day of occupation, I phoned the front desk to voice my concern and after the usual apology, was told I was "on the schedule" for the next day. The very next evening, after a grueling 15 hour day, I walked into my room to see the bed unmade, towels in the bath, blah blah blah . . . the room still was not cleaned. Upset--and with due cause--I phoned the front desk and was provided towels. On the tenth day, the room was cleaned (LOL, what a joke since I only stayed 10 nights, departing on the 11th day!)
Here's the kicker . . . I was provided a bill made out to "Richard Gibbs" of Wilkes-Barre, PA (whoever the hell that is) . . . nobody in the office for the entire day could retrieve and/or print a corrected bill . . . now I'm worried about the integrity of my credit card information. I'm told the manager is to contact me after the Labor Day Holiday . . . meanwhile, he's MIA for four days plus.
I doubt anyone there would have the BALLS to offer me a free night . . . AS IF I'D ACCEPT IT!
NEVER AGAIN . . . I learned my lesson with this Homestead.
