What A Dump
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/07
We pulled up and a bunch of men were sitting in front and there were chicken bones beneath them. We were actually scared but had to stay since our travel agent made the reservations and the bill was prepaid. This should be the last place you'd stay. I'd go to another city before I'd stay here again.

My Opinion - Not Safe!
By None, 08/21/06
My two young sons and I were traveling north and stopped in E-city for the night. I had asked my wife earlier to make a reservation at a national chain hotel in town, and since I had plesantly stayed at several Days Inns in the past, she opted for the same this time around. What a mistake! We never made it to the room. First, it's never a good sign when the lobby attendant has to buzz you into the main entrance to the hotel. My 10 year old was about to wet his pants so I asked if he could use the lobby bathroom. The clerk told me that no one was allowed to come behind the counter - even a 10 year old. After paying up front, we drove around the back of the hotel to our room. On the way, several young, shirtless men (gang members?) were gathered in the parking lot and on the balconies shouting and drinking. I just completed the trip around the hotel, got my money back, and went to the Hampton Inn. If you're staying in E-city, I would reccommend the Hampton Inn first, then Microtel. That's all!

Loved It!!!
By Shaka, 08/20/06
While we were in Elizabeth City taking our son to school, there we ended up staying at the Days Inn. We had to experience 2 other places in the beginning since the lady did not reserve enough rooms for us at the Econo Lodge. Which by the way was, a disgrace and the room was nice but the people were nasty. The second night we stayed at the Traveler's Inn,we will never do that again. So we stayed at the Days Inn for 2 nights and we loved it. The staff was so nice and friendly and it was close to ECSU. One lady even told us of a good place to eat. (Prime Sirlion). The room was cleaned and smelled fresh. The appliances all worked. The beds were comforable and we would stay again. The bathroom was cleaned and fully stocked. I would recommend Days Inn to any of my friends and family.
