We expected more for the money, but it was nice.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/10/08
We went there for our anniversery. The service was great. We really enjoyed the area. Breakfast was the best part. It was great! The room was okay. We paid $350 per night. We were expecting a little more for the money we paid. I would have paid half that for the room. The TV was very small. It was hard to see from the bed and it was very hard to hear it. The fireplace was nice. We enjoyed the location because it was so quiet. I had found out that they had offered a special of $170 per night the day that We checked out and they didn't give us that rate. They said it was a website rate only. So check the rates the day before you check in to make sure you are getting the best deal.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/13/05
This is a great luxury resort for a quiet, romantic get-away. It was very affordable during off-season. We had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves! If you go off-season, the restaurant is closed...but we enjoyed a meal at the local "Tap House" bar & grill--a favorite of the locals. The views are amazing...and we really liked watching the sunrise from our private patio area. So find a babysitter...and go on a date night or two! We loved it! **the only negative is that staff is very limited after 5-6 PM. So check out your room and report any issues before dinner!

Beautiful and Romantic
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/02/05
If you are looking for a beautiful view and romantic setting, this is the place for you. The rooms are well decorated and the balconies overlook excellent views. The food and wine is great. You can even order a pizza from town delivered. The only down side is the small tub. The fireplace was great and the furniture was comfortable.
