Don't Waste Your Money

Our greeting from the Innkeeper told us immediately that hospitality is NOT her calling. She is rude, unsolicitous and nasty. I have stayed in other B&B's and believe me, hers is the B&B from hell.
My son and daughter in law had their wedding reception there on the lawn and we booked a room to enjoy the "after party". She stalked the DJ telling him to turn down the music even though when we went up to the house to use the rest room, the music was inaudible. And the rest room! The toilet leaked and there were inadequate hand towels. When she was told about it, she mumbled something but did nothing to correct it.
The pond held a huge green scum and bubbled as though methane were escaping from the septic system.
The house may have been "restored" in 1997, but it is in disrepair in 2005. There are pieces of the roof dismantled just above the entry door. It is not warm and welcoming, and I am convinced that the innkeeper is from Transylvania.
The evening we stayed there, we inquired about getting a cup of coffee or hot water for tea, and were directed to the highway to a coffee shop with a sense of indignance that we had the audacity to ask for such a thing from them!
The breakfast was not appetizing. The scrambled egg concoction was floating in grease and the only good thing about it was the fresh fruit and the coffee.
This is by far the absolute worst B&B I have ever stayed in. The only recommendation I can give is that the innkeepers find another vocation - like maybe prison wardens.
