Hampton Inn & Suites Rochester/Victor, Victor

We found this hotel to be a great location - close to good shopping Malls and restaurants and only 20 mins drive into Rochester. Suites are beautiful - although not that big - they are extremely clean, top of the line linen/bedding and well equipped kitchen. However - it was very expensive for early May - ($340 for 2 nights for two people) We realized we could have got a similiar room just as new and as clean at other chain hotels (with the same included breakfast) for half the price. One of the main things I found lacking at this place was that - it just had no atmosphere. The self-serve 'restaurant' is simply part of the lobby and the only staff we encountered was at the desk as we checked in. There just wasnt that friendly, 'Welcome!' feeling about the place. I felt is was much more suitable for business patrons. Breakfast was really good, but as I stated, most of the surrounding hotels include the same breakfast. I love this area, as Canadians we have visited a few times a year, and we did have a good weekend, but next visit we will be staying at a non-suite, maybe friendlier hotel in the same area for much less $$.

This hotel is great for short stays. This hotel is very comfortable, the amenities are great, and the staff are wonderfull! I enjoyed the time I spent at this hotel, even though it was only for two nights. This hotel has great amenities including a free breakfast buffet, a large swimming pool and hot tub, and a fitness center. The rooms are also wonderfull. Free Wifi, a large flatscreen tv, and I must say really comftorable beds! Even though this hotel is a little far from Rochester it is wonderfull for buisness stays. This hotel is definitly worth the money and if your staying in the Rochester area I recomend going to this Hampton Inn and Suites.

Not exactly close to Rochester, but if you're travelling along the Thruway (I-90) and need a place to stay, you can't go wrong here. Agree with earlier posting about the busy breakfast area, but the lobby is comfy, service is friendly, rooms clean & quiet (although they allow pets), pool & gym are good sized, and is in an easy-access location.

I loved the pool, hot tub, exerscise room, sweets, and service!The sweets are amazing, they are like a little apartment.The staff is very friendly and attentive.I can't wait to come back to this hotel!

This facility is located right off the highway and within minutes of a variety of restaurants, businesses and shopping (ahh, the mall). The rooms are reasonably nice and they offer wireless internet along with the price. Hotel staff is efficient and fairly knowledgeable. When something does not work they generally get service people on it right away. The breakfast bar is extremely busy and they often have trouble keeping up with the demand but there is a great variety of fruit, cereal, pastries and juice - as well as regular and decaf. The hotel is set up to cater to business folks, with a number of meeting rooms in various sizes and configurations. However with kids roaming the halls and the echoing pool area (ajacent to the workout room), the business person may find it difficult to concentrate. Overall, an average value. The beds are not the most comfortable I've ever slept in either.
