Golden Crown Paradise Adults Only All-Inclusive, Zona Hotelera nte

Why the hell do you advertise Adults only hotel when there's kids. What scam is this!!!!!!!!! Food was good at times.

We liked every thing. The food was awesome . The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the showtime every day that started at 9:30 pm at Nitro club.The dancers were very talented. We liked the fact, that there was a different theme every night The Disney theme was fantastic .I would recommend it to others, who would like to have a good vacation and forget the reality of life.

The rooms were more than adequate, the staff was awesome, and while there may not have been an open buffet, other than at the next door sister complex, there was plenty of good food! I have been to PV nearly ten times, and definitely would go back to Golden Crown resort. My only complaint was breakfast room service. It didn't seem to matter when you requested your delivery, they brought it when they wanted, which was anywhere from an hort to an hour and a half earlier. The on site retsurants, while requesting various stages of attire, were excellent!! Sans Souci was the best and Raul is fabulous! Just got back on the 16th and can't wait to return - for a longer visit than the eight days I just returned from!!

not the fanciest of hotels but for the money well worth it. who cares what the rooms are like, just are in them for 6 hours of sleeping anyway. there are a lot of beach peddlers but it's fun messing with them. if you don't want to be approached by them just ignore them and they leave you alone. food is good, if you want to walk to Outback there is one 4 blocks away, has a nice grocery store accross the street. the best part is walking downtown. it's a long walk, couple miles but it's fun stopping at all the local bars for a drink. once there, there are many restaurants, bubba gumps, hard rock, and the best is a local, Pipi's. you must visit Pipi's, excellent food and even betterr margarittias. just got done booking are trip for Feb, this is the 4 year. friends we go with have been going almost 20. I recommend this hotel, for the money it can't be beat.

Positives: Staff was friendly and our view from the beach front room was amazing. We used a lot of their free non-motorized beach equipment: volleyball, ping-pong table, pool table, etc. Negatives: The bed's were extremely uncomfortable. Very stiff and small and the pillows were horrible. There is NO open food buffet at the Adults Only side of the hotel. Food at the Adults Only part of the hotel was awful with the exception of the "fine dining/reservation only" restaurants. We spent most of the time going over to their sister hotel to eat at their buffet. That buffet was always overcrowded with a lot of kids around. We booked 2 tours through the hotel we highly recommend the scuba diving and the Outdoor Adventure. The Outdoor Adventure is the best deal for what you get out of it. The drinks made at the this hotel were sub-par, you always had to ask and watch them make your drink to make sure they give you "top shelf" instead of the cheap stuff. Staff around the pool to take your orders were hardly there, you had to go and get your own drinks each time. Probably won't be going back to Puerto Vallarta anytime soon, and if we do we won't be staying at the Golden Crown Paradise....price was good but overall experience was NOT good.

This was our 4th trip to this resort. The price is a plus! The food is not. The service at the outdoor restaurant--the Bella Vista- is almost non-existent. We waited for our food for almost an hour and when it came it wasn't complete and the things that were supposed to be hot were lukewarm and the things that were supposed to be cold were warm (like the Caesar salad). My husband ordered a beef tenderloin at dinner at the Paradise restaurant and it was so tough he couldn't eat it. The bright spot for food was the INDOOR Bella Vista restaurant run by Paulie. Food was always good and he will go out of his way to please you. I really liked the pool. It is the same depth throughout and always very clean. Speaking of clean--they are always cleaning--which was very nice to see. The drinks were very good (although I am no expert on drinks). The dinner on the beach for return guests is always very nice. Forget about a good night's sleep on their pillows--unless you can sleep no matter what the pillows are like. These must have come from k-mart! I have to say I never ran into anyone who worked there who was rude. It would be nice to sit on the beach without constantly being bothered to buy something from the vendors. Even if you close your eyes, they will tap you on the shoulder and say, Senora--would you like to buy this or that. I wish I could just relax on the beach and watch the waves but I guess staying near the pool is less frustrating so I do that. I really wish that I had no complaints ----the location is great. the snack bars have good food and the paea (don't know if I spelled that right) is to die for and is made once a week by the pool. It is not a 5 star resort--more like a 3.

We've visited many area's and resorts including other Crown Paradise facilities this one was a disappointment. Staff at times seemed to care less about service. Food was ok but selection at all restaurants & Buffet not up to expectations very limited offerings. Area that resort is in was dirty, loud, & smelly. Resort itself was OK as far as clean and neat. You had to reserve adult pool side area before 7:00 or there was nothing available, same at adult only swim up bar even though bar didn't open until 11:00. Security was lax here because people were eating and leaving food around pool. Kids left sleeping on chairs one day while parents left the pool area to go to another bar, IT IS ADULTS ONLY Will not recommend

I shall be honest by saying that this hotel is just OK. We arrived there and it was clean, and for an all adults hotel, it was more like a 55 plus hotel. When you arrive you get the key to the safe, remote for the t.v. and only 2 bottles of water per day. How cheap.........The staff is nice and the food is good somedays and other days you go out to eat because it is awful. You get approached by the merchants on the beach over 50 times per day trying to sell you something. If you sit by the pool, hardly any wind blowing and full with people. I felt like it was Coronation Street beause of the size everyone pretty much sticks to their crowds and mingle with their own friends. The bar night life is boring........Lowsy service on the beach with drinks. I feel even though it wasn't a very expensive hotel, you get exactly what you pay for........not much........There are so many hotels out there that are alot better and offer alot more. There are alot of hotels that you can call and make your own deals, Not that many tourists out there now so shop around. This is my 4th time to Mexico, second time to Puerto Vallarta and twice to the Mayan RIviera , This was the oldest hotel and for the same value as I had with the much more exclusive hotels at the other locations. I feel that having merchants on the beach hounding you all day is not much of a holiday. I know that is their job but all the other resorts I stayed at did not allow them on the beach. The best thing about the place is walking distance to Wallmart and Sorianna's(grocery store where you will buy the water) . Bus service is great and we went by bus all over the place. (55 pesos per person) We went up to the mountains and checked all the vacant condo's that are renting for $65.00 US per night.(or cheaper) No people....empty. So not it's up to you.........I did have fun with my friends but would never go back there. Weather is always wonderful and we all got awesome tans and came home well. I hope my review helps some people. I love to be on a beach and meet people but like I said............maybe at another location..............Enjoy your next trip to Puerto Vallarta,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Did not like the fact that we could not utilize the beach. The peddlers were everywhere. You could not even stop off the pool area without being aggresively approached. The food was just OK. The staff in the restaurants were very friendly and that is the best thing I can say about the place. One of the girls at the front information desk was the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. We were glad to get home.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The furniture in the room was a little outdated but it was absolutely spotless. I am a very picky person and I found it very clean. The staff was really fun and great. They take the hotel guests to a diff nightclub everynight for $10. Do not miss the tequilla volleyball it is hillarious. The hotel has alot of activities to keep you busy and shows everynight. The food was great. We had 5 course meals everynight. You will appreciate the free room service at 4am! I would go back in a heartbeat.
