Baymont Inn & Suites Pawleys Island, Pawleys Island

Room was completely unclean. My husband first found an old bottle while looking for the remote. My two year old, while trying to help him, then found a used HYPODERMIC NEEDLE in the small space under the bed. We also found a band-aid wrapper and various other trash on the floor. Upon turning down the sheets in one bed, we discovered bright red blood on the sheets, of which I took a picture. The housekeepers proceeded to try to blame us instead of taking responsibility for their negligence. The executive housekeeper was very rude, as well as the manager who offered no solution or apology. When returning the evening after speaking to the manager, we found our door had been left cracked open by the housekeeping staff with all of our belongings in the room. Upon trying we found that this was hard to do as an accident, as the door swung shut very well. Even if it was an accident, it was a very careless and stupid one. I would never bring my child back to this disgusting place, and would NEVER recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel during the fourth of July weekend! The Front Desk Associates were very friendly and helpful. The room was very Clean and Comfortable. If you suffer from allergies such as myself, they only have 6 smoking rooms which are all located together and the remaining non smoking rooms are all located together. We will definitely stay here again during our visits to the beach! Great location also!

we planned on staying here, but didn't actual stay. i called the nite before and asked if they would accept a coupon that i had. i was told yes. the next morning, my husband called and asked if they accepted the coupon, and was once again told yes. the coupon was for 89.99 a nite on weekends. we traveled a long ways to get there. upon getting there i go inside to get a room. i was told it would cost 129.99 a nite. i told them that i had the coupon for 89.99. the lady looked at me and said "NO MAM"!! i said well i called last nite and was told yes. she said "no, not tonite, we can't accept the coupon". i left and the more i thought about it after driving so far, the more it ticked me, so i called and asked to speak to the magager. and SHE was the manager (so she says). she was rude again and pretty much told me that they will not accept the coupons if they are booking up fast, but if they were having a slow week, then they would accept the coupon. so, don't think you're going there with a coupon and it be honored. after searching the myrtle beach area, they all seem to be on the same page when it comes to accepting coupons inwhich you find in those vistor's booklets.

Our hotel room didnt get cleaned for two days and we were gone for four to five hours a day. The front desk was little help. We had a rude front desk clerk at check in. We loved Pawley's island but won't be staying at this hotel again.

The staff was friendly and accommidating. Had a problem with the toilet - mgmt went above what was expected to get the problem fixed. The only dislike was a small sign on the highway - can miss the driveway if not careful. Family had a great time.
