Always a Pleasure
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/21/12
We have been to Vegas too many times to count now, and at various times of year. I'm very surprised to hear some of the negative comments on the board, as we have always stayed at Venetian or Palazzo, and had a pleasurable experience. Here are some tips: (1) Want to party HARD? Then go during college breaks cuz it gets LOCO. (2) Want romance and quiet? Go in between peak holidays and avoid any college breaks. (3) Want to take your kids? Take care as to the population that will infiltrate the pool area-again, so avoid college spring breaks and such. This is a challenge as most school breaks are about the same time. Also, there are many pools to choose from. The quiet pool is over at the Palazzo/Venezia tower/right by Bouchon. The pool by TAO is party, party, party. So, it depends on what you are looking for. Okay, on service, be aware that busier times of the year, such as Christmas and New Years mean long waits on the phone lines for room service. Otherwise, service is more or less prompt. As for cleanliness, I guess we have had excellent housekeepers, because it is always left clean and fresh. Location? There is very easy access to Wynn/Bellagio/Ceasars/Treasure Island/Mirage/Paris/etc. You can easily walk, but it probably won't be much fun in high heels. Taxis are abundant and reasonable. Value? We go Grazie, and this has some nice perks over time. Also, you will get offers that are really awesome! Sometimes the cost is about a third of the regular room rate. I will also note that if you like to gamble, the atmosphere at the Venetian/Palazzo is one of the best with high ceilings, no smoke, and a very professional and helpful staff. Do you like to experience the talent of a mixologist? Try B & B bistro. Want a wonderful brunch? Try Bouchon in the morning on the patio. Want to work out? Wow, what a great gym with a rock climbing wall and yoga classes, etc.. Want to pamper yourself? The spa is totally awesome. I had an exceptional massage and facial, plus all the different therapeutic rooms were an added bonus. There are many great places to satay in Vegas, but this resort offers the above and beyond. You just have to play your cards right. :)

Old, dirty, falling apart
By UniqueBite, 12/25/11
This is our second stay in Venetian. We first stayed in 2004. We had the same expectation as in 2004, it was clean and new. Now it is old and dirty. We had the option of choosing between Bellagio and Venetian, we were ready to pay extra to stay in Venetian as it's suites are bigger than Bellagio rooms. - The sofas are old and you can clearly see the dirty patches on the sofa - The white comforter and bed sheets are old, they are no longer pure white, they blueish white - The door of the entertainment center came off (dangerous for kids), and the irony is that they didn't fix the door the next day - The door knobs came off - The worst room cleaning ever I have had in any hotel stay. They made the bed (OK), replaces the towel in the bathroom, there were several dirty glasses on the table didn't clean them, didn't clean the desk or the table, it was a mess before I left the room and didn't change. - If you stay in the Venezia tower, it is a headache to find your way back to your suite from the casino, and it is a long walk - poor architect - They have not fixed the walk way from parking lot to the casino. - Way too many elevator to change to go one from place to another

Anniversary Weekend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/4/11
I just left Vegas and ready to return to the Venetian already. The service, staff and restaurants all were great. I plan to make it the place to stay everytime I go to Vegas. The prices were a little high but you get what you pay for. I recommend eating at the Cut restaurant the food and service was great again a little expensive but it was worth the money celebrating our 23rd anniversary.

Beautiful Place to Stay--Thumbs UP!
By Mary, 9/29/11
We just returned home after a 5 night stay at the Venetian. We were very impressed overall. The resort is absolutely stunning, far nicer than we expected. The service was always polite and professional and we felt very welcome there. The concierge staff were very helpful with any questions that we had. We stayed in the standard room which was a small suite. The marble bathroom was impressive and luxurious and quite a good size. We had fantastic views. We were right across from the Mirage and had a great view of the erupting volcano. The resort was very clean and our room was very comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable and luxurious with cotton sheets and duvets. We had a really nice sized living room that was comfortable. The Venetian has a great location in the middle of the strip and we enjoyed walking up and down the strip and seeing everything. Great location close to great shopping and many fantastic restaurants. Quite a beautiful resort-so big you could get lost but the signs are really good. The casino was very nice, again with very nice staff. We also liked that we had to show our room keys to get up to the rooms. we were happy with the security that was in place. We felt that we got very good value for the money we spent. We would highly recommend this resort!

What a wonderful trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/31/11
My wife and I spent 3.5 days in the Venetian and never once left the comfortable confines of this wonderful hotel/casino. The Venetian/Palazzo hotel has everything you can possibly want out of a romantic get away. Delmonico's was amazing and I would go back just for the dinner rolls! If you are looking for a hotel that has everything, The Venetian resort is the best!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
By Beachgirl, 5/10/11
Got violently ill after eating room service. Tried to report it - they were jerks about it. Not impressed with service. I didn't feel like I was being dealt with honestly. Not impressed with service at all. Would never return.
