Always a Pleasure

We have been to Vegas too many times to count now, and at various times of year. I'm very surprised to hear some of the negative comments on the board, as we have always stayed at Venetian or Palazzo, and had a pleasurable experience. Here are some tips:
(1) Want to party HARD? Then go during college breaks cuz it gets LOCO. (2) Want romance and quiet? Go in between peak holidays and avoid any college breaks. (3) Want to take your kids? Take care as to the population that will infiltrate the pool area-again, so avoid college spring breaks and such. This is a challenge as most school breaks are about the same time. Also, there are many pools to choose from. The quiet pool is over at the Palazzo/Venezia tower/right by Bouchon. The pool by TAO is party, party, party. So, it depends on what you are looking for. Okay, on service, be aware that busier times of the year, such as Christmas and New Years mean long waits on the phone lines for room service. Otherwise, service is more or less prompt. As for cleanliness, I guess we have had excellent housekeepers, because it is always left clean and fresh. Location? There is very easy access to Wynn/Bellagio/Ceasars/Treasure Island/Mirage/Paris/etc. You can easily walk, but it probably won't be much fun in high heels. Taxis are abundant and reasonable. Value? We go Grazie, and this has some nice perks over time. Also, you will get offers that are really awesome! Sometimes the cost is about a third of the regular room rate. I will also note that if you like to gamble, the atmosphere at the Venetian/Palazzo is one of the best with high ceilings, no smoke, and a very professional and helpful staff. Do you like to experience the talent of a mixologist? Try B & B bistro. Want a wonderful brunch? Try Bouchon in the morning on the patio. Want to work out? Wow, what a great gym with a rock climbing wall and yoga classes, etc.. Want to pamper yourself? The spa is totally awesome. I had an exceptional massage and facial, plus all the different therapeutic rooms were an added bonus. There are many great places to satay in Vegas, but this resort offers the above and beyond. You just have to play your cards right. :)
