Deluxe Inn & Suites, Philadelphia

i do not recommend this hotel to anyone except maybe to a homeless person.it is like camping in the woods but i hate to say the woods was better.it was very unpleasent and uncomfortable.also the service was horrible.

I stayed in this hotel on 11/4/2011 and will have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was formerly owned by another company and was known as the Key West Inn. It was purchased by its current owners in 2008 (information from the lady at the front desk who was exceptionally pleasant) and they have done an excellent job of making it a desirable property to visit. It has to be hard competing with the glut of rooms at the casino which is just a few miles away. I am handicapped (in wheelchair) and travel with a pet. For those of you who do this you know how hard it is to first find a truly accessible room and even more so one that allows pets. There is an additional charge for pets at this location (Front desk says $20.00) but the man who made my reservation told me $15.00 and the front desk honored that when I arrived. They were able to get me a room that I am easily able to move around in and I can access the "toilet room"...The vanity and sink area is located at the back of the main room for those of you who have that question. Everyone I have dealt with as of this writing has been pleasant, the ground are clean and safe with multiple curb access locations (nice for wheelchair persons.) There is a Mcdonald's and a Subway next door and the parking lots is very well lit and within view of the front desk. Local Calls to the Philadelphia area are free and the cable is reasonable for a small town. The wireless internet is great and free. For those of you looking for a mainline comparison, it is comparable to a Red Roof, La Quinta, or Econo Lodge quality. I would definitely stay here again based on this visit.

We had to pay $99.00 for one night ( which I felt was way too high) but anyway we got the room and it had a bad odor but everything seemed clean. My family and I went to eat dinner then when we came back to the room we saw a bug on the wall. We ignored it til we saw another one then a baby roach on the table then about 6 ROACHES cralwed out of the head board and onto the walls and bed....so we told the manager asked for a refund (which he claims we will receive in the form of a money order in a few weeks) packed our stuff and left.

Stayed here years ago before these people who act like they can't speak English or either cannot. Was okay then, but I called and rented a room for 6/24/11 got Conf#, but had to cancel. Called 6/16 and lady would say Call Back, Call Back. Could not speak English. Called next morning and talked to a man that I booked the room with and I told him I had to cancel and I had to tell him my name 3 times and all he would say over is my name and cancel and I said yes over and over again. I said I need a Conf # and he said no need for Number over and over again.. Then on the 24th a very nice girl called from there and asked was we coming and I told her I canceled, But they charged my credit card anyway. Now they say I didn,t canceled, so here I go Credit card firm is filing a dispute with them. Be Careful. No English. What happen to all our Americans!!!

I booked a jacuzzi room here June 27 and it was horrible. First of all the look of the room was nice. Until I found a dead cockroach in the kitchen sink, the water pressure was too low not hot enough for the jacuzzi tub, the shower was broken didn't work properly and the tv remote didn't work. This place was HELL don't stay here ever.

rooms were clean... beds were very comfotable... clean and quite... and well managed staff... feels like home away from home... willl stay here with family next time for sure...

the room was clean no trash on floors,no smell,no bugs. the stay was pleasant and enjoyable. we had wireless internet,everything was convient. china buffett , subway, mcdonalds, all within walking distance. however the pool was undesirable,small and not very clean looking(could be due to the end of the season) it was hard to unlock the door but not impossiable. no hot tub as mentioned in ad..but being where their at and only less than 3 miles from casino price was great..i wouldnt go higher though could lose buisness.. sincerley the davis's

This place says thay have a Hot Tub on their web site but they don't.The rooms were not clean because trash was piled behind dresser and under beds. Roaches in rooms and maid service was bad they picked up your towels but did not put any back.

Deluxe Inn and Suites Philadelphia, MS Hotels and Motels, Other Lodging Review Date: 08/27/2006 NEVER AGAIN!!!!!: We were greeted with bugs. They were In the bed, in the jacuzzi tub and on the night stand. Garbage around the night stand. A needle in the floor. The smell of smoke was so bad, and it was supposed to be a NON smoking room. The mirrors were dirty. We paid $186.00 for this room and it was awful. I was not about to sit my butt in that tub. When we brought it to the managers attention, they were not concerned with our problems. But of course they had our debit card info. so we had no choice but pay.

we stayed there overnight, we got the last room available, and everything else seemed to be sold out, the hotels around the area we had just checked with told us the closest place available was Meridian, so we was relieved to get the room. The room was clean, nothing outstanding just a basic room, our tv had a speaker busted on it or something, but we was at the casino most of the time, and only watched a little tv. The heat was good, and the shower pressure was too, bathroom was on the small side, It is conveniently located within a few miles of the casino, better than the 40 miles from Meridian we were afraid we was going to have to end up driving... but the price of this hotel was the same as staying at the casino, so wasn't much of a deal, but the casino was sold out. Good luck trying to understand the people who work in the office, if you only speak english then you'll be in the same boat we were in. There were only a couple of towels in the room and we called for more and had to go get them ourselves. We would still stay there again if the casino was booked up and we was planning to go back.
