We loved it and hope to return!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/09
The hotel is charming with great staff. The fellow in the bar was really helpful. We had a room overlooking the courtyard. The location is ideal. Our only suggestion is to place skid-proof pads in the bathtub or add hold bars to prevent slipping.

the perfect hotel for a taste of seville
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/2/08
We were two couples who booked two standard rooms and were upgraded to deluxe when booking. When we arrived at the hotel we were then upgraded again to a suite as they were not very busy. The staff were extremely helpfl and made us very welcome. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of fresh fruit, meats, cheeses and pastries. We would definately stay here again as the whole ambience met all our expectations of a typical spanish/moorish palace. The bathrooms are rather small and quirky but seemed to be appropriate in that building and the bedroom was lovely with a comfortable bed. The hotel was within walking distance of the main attractions.

GO THERE!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/8/06
Extremely helpful staff at Casa Imperial - and lovely interior. The front desk was very helpful and cordial. Truly one of the great small hotels of Spain - and a reasonable walk from all the main sights and shopping. Not exciting from the outside - but inside Casa Imperial is so very nice. Hard to find driving - and difficult to drive from (because Seville is hard to drive in) - but worth the effort. We stayed in a junior suite which had a sunken tub and a separate room. The tub was great but we didn't really need the extra space of the room. But if I had to trade the tub away, I'd take the extra space. The hotel is truly a quaint and lovely spot. Beautiful areas for relaxation and quiet. My only knock is the extraordinarily expensive Swisscom internet connection (27 euros per day). We loved Casa Imperial and would go back again - WITHOUT a car which we parked in front of the hotel and didn't move for 4 days (the streets are teeny and curvy. Make sure to visit Palace Alcazar and the cathedral (in that order). Headsets a must at both. SKIP Flamenco. It's tap dancing with an attitude. Great little shop right at Plaza Santa Cruz - not too far from hotel. Eat a the restaurant below the Hotel Colon - opens at 9:00. Extraordinary meal. Go - enjoy Seville, see the bullfight ring - and go to Ronda.
