This is like staying in an apartment. If you have to be out of your house for awhile with your family this would be the place to go. The kitchen area, separate bedroom, and free laundry make it much more comfortable than a regular hotel. On the down side the linens for the pull out couch were grungy and if you are sleeping on the pull out it is very noisy with the Heating and A/C unit right next to you. I would recommend this for families that need a place to stay for a few nights and don't feel like eating out every night.

If staying here for a week, they do not clean your room or give you clean towels on a daily basis. This hotel is not the greatest, yeah the rate is not bad but for $20 more a night I would have had clean linens daily and it would of been worth it. I checked out the night before because I was leaving so early the next morning and did not want something else to worry about. When I got back to do a expense report for work I found out they added a extra stay onto my bill. I am now trying to deal with that.

Clean, relaxing atmosphere!

We stayed at Candlewood Suites for a week while our house was getting fumigated. We have stayed at many beautiful hotels in the past and were pleasantly surprised that Candlewood Suites, Lake Forest, CA is as beautiful as it is. Very clean property, well-decorated with a feeling of home away from home, this hotel deserves to be known more. It offers a very welcoming atmosphere with hospitable staff and an excellent location.
