Extended Stay America Pensacola - University Mall, Pensacola

I don't know what the other two reviewers are expecting but for the money it's a good hotel. The area around the hotel is old and the economy hasn't helped in getting business up and running. I stayed at this extended stay for 4 months in 2009 and 2010 period, and additional week later in 2010, and 2 months in 2011. The staff will do what ever they can to assist you with your room or information for the area. I agree the internet is slow and yes there is a one time charge (under 5$) for access, but it works. Also the individual that said they went across the street and used the internet at another hotel is full of it. There isn't another hotel across the street. There is a large mall with only three business open because it is getting ready to remodel. 2 miles away there is more shopping then a person can handle. Good people, good place (older), and a good stay.

Very run down. No ice machine. No pool. Public areas dirty. Room I reserved was not available so got a downgrade for the same price. Internet was broken for most of my stay. Once it was up, the process to sign on was bizar. It cost extra to sign on to the internet. The staff was trying. They are up against a management staff that just doesn't care.
