Much More Than I Could Expect

I love this hotel! It is extremely clean, very convenient just off I-77 (on our way to Disney), pet-friendly (with no extra cost!), and it offers unlimited evening snacks and drinks (cocktails limited to three free) including a bountiful breakfast! It is ideally located among several restaurants within walking distance and a shopping center across the street. And, I ended up paying less ($80/wkend night) than what I was quoted! When does that ever happen?

We will be back again!

This was a very nice hotel that my family and I enjoyed at durin our family reunion. Just about everything was suitable and satisfying. I did have a complaint about the room that I stayed in had an odor, and the staff got a mixup about some of our rooms not being paid for. That was not true at all; all the rooms were paid for. And the last thing that I did not quite understand was at checkout time some of us had to pay tax at the end of our stay. Overall everything was convienent and we enjoyed our trip.

Good Service and Friendly

Despite a few minor drawbacks I enjoyed staying at the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to go to eat/sightsee. The room was a good size but had a little problem with the room not being thoroughly cleaned when first got there - beds made, but trash had not been emptied, nor had the refrigerator been checked from the previous guest (an open soda was left in there). They did comp. the first night since I went and mentioned the problem. The other drawback was that even though the room was non smoking it was on a floor that was half smoking rooms and half non smoking rooms so the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke as soon as you got off the elevator. Amenities were good - nice to grab some breakfast in the morning and snack/drink in the afternoon. The pool loses sun in the afternoon after about 3 or so. Hotel is in good proximity to many restaurants and shopping.

Pleasant Stay

Clean room, lots of free amenities, helpfull staff and reasonable price. For the money it is well worth it. I believe the hotel is also being modernized. Which will make the property even more desirable. In addition lots of restaurants around to choose from.

I felt at home!!

I loved the Drury Inn & Suites, because I felt at home. The room was just the right size and the accomodations were nice. Free soda and popcorn. Each room has a refrigerator, microwave and the room made me feel like I was at home.

Best for the money

I liked the microwave & refrig in the king rooms, the free breakfast was hot and fresh. The location is great, across from restaurants, shoppes, etc. easy access to freeway.

DRURY INNS ARE THE BEST!

Anywhere I go I look for a Drury Inn first. The Drury has never let me down! They have the cleanest hotels I've ever seen. Plus a full breakfast and evening snack is included. This hotel has an indoor pool that leads to an outdoor pool, a sauna and a workout room. It's in a central location, close to the University, The Charlotte Motor Speedway and easily accessible to Uptown Charlotte. All of this for a very low price -- you just can't go wrong!!!

I will only stay at this hotel when I am visiting my daughter at uncc. Not only do I receive a discount because I am visiting the campus(49), my stay is always enjoyable
