Not bad, Extended Stay America
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/19/11
I booked online on their direct website and had I confirmation number. When I got there they said they were out of the rooms I had booked. REALLY? Then why would they still allow it to be booked. So they "upgraded" my room and I stayed in the non-smoking Signature studio with 2 double beds. The room smelled like marijuana when I came in. The toilet was dirty. And there were condoms in the drawer. The fridge had an awful smell. It was disgusting. Housekeeping needs to start doing their job right, and not just cutting corners. Otherwise, I like that they have a kitchenette. A great location. All around appealing exterior appearance as well as interior. The front desk is pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again. The cleanliness is not as bad as other hotels/motels. I just expected more.

One night stay with family
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/10
We were there for a softball tournament at Freedom Park. It was easy to get to and we were allowed to check in early. Our room was on the 3rd floor and smelled clean and looked clean. One down side was very little toilet paper. My husband had to go get a roll from housekeeping. Also the next morning while cooking breakfast, my daughter found a moldy piece of food in a plastic container in the microwave. Apparently when housekeeping cleans the rooms, they do not check the appliances. The microwave was clean however. We would stay there again. It was very quiet and overall a nice hotel and a great value.

Dirty Public Areas
By John G, 3/2/09
I have stayed here for three stays of 2-3 nights each. I always get a rate of $35 per nilght by bidding on Priceline. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. The rooms are O.K. and fairly clean, but my feet begin to feel itchy after walking on the carpet in my socks, and this led to athlete's foot. Garbage on top of the trash can outside my room was not picked up during the 3 nights I was there. No hangers in the closet. When I asked at the front desk, the helpful clerk had to go to 5 different rooms before finding any hangers. During my last stay, three cars were broken into. Another time there was trash and liquied on the floor of the elevator. I reported it to the front desk, and they did nothing--the trash was still there the next monring.
