Century Southern Tower Hotel, Tokyo

Great Location of this hotel. Right across from the Times Square Shopping Complex, with Takashimaya Dept Store, Tokyu Hands, Sega Game City, HMV, and Kinokuniya Book Store. The footbrige across the rail track is built as if it is just for one to access the Times Square.

One can use the Minami (South) exit of the Shinjuku JR Station. When walking on the Boardwalk between the hotel and the station, you would pass through a Starbucks, great place for a quick breakfast. The other train station exit, Shin-Minami (New South) exit would lead you to the Times Square complex, and then onto the footbridge to get to the hotel.

As the lobby is on the 20th floor. The view is already fantastic. You've got a view of the Tokyo Tower even by visiting the washroom at the lobby level. On a clear day, you would see Mount Fuji from the Lounge area next to the Reception. Rooms starts from 22nd floor onwards.

Prices in convenience shop right next to the elevators are not that cheap though. A Family Mart is just off the street at the end of the Boardwalk away from the Train Station.

The final good thing is when you leave the hotel for Narita Airport, you can use the Shin Minami exit, and the Narita Express is "parked" closed to that exit, and, you've got escalators to help you with luggage. There are only 5 steps that you really need to go through before getting to the train platform!
