BEST WESTERN Ocean Villa, Port Aransas

We had a family reunion here and had a great time. There was a little mix up about some of the rooms (we wanted everyone on the same side of the building). We had made reservations 6 months in advance to ensure we were all together. As we all started checking in though we were half on one side and half on the other side of the building. I went down to the office and polietly explained the situation to the front desk attendent and he corrected the issue imediantly with no hassle. The rooms were fine we had no problems with them, except for one of our rooms, the shower head fell off, but the night frontdesk attendent immediantly had that issue taken care of. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. This hotel has a nice pool, given it's nothing big and fancy, but it was clean and big enough to swim in. This place is in a great location close (walking distance) to shops, dinning, and even a go cart rental place. There is a nice contiental breakfest served with a lot more options than I've ever seen at a hotel. There is a gameroom with a wii. It's nothing special but if you are going to spend all your time inside why even go on vacation. Our whole family enjoyed this place and though there were those couple of issues I mentioned above the staff corrected everything in a very timely matter ( with in minutes, no time was lost because we were waiting to have something fixed.) Things happen and atleast the staff that was employed there during are stay got things done and they were very friendly to us. I would recommend this place to anybody and I guess that's what I am doing. We Will stay there again. (Oh yeah, My family and I even arrived a day early and they put us in a room with no problems and we stayed in that room for the duration of our stay. That's how accomindating this palce is!)

PORT ARANSAS WAS SO MUCH FUN. ESPECIALLY BEING ABLE TO STAY IN ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS THERE. FOR ANYONE WHO IS STILL LOOKING FOR A NICE, CLEAN HOTEL AND IS UNSURE OF WERE TO STAY. BEST WESTERN IS THE PLACE, FOR REAL AND ITS NOT SO ESPENSIVE. GREAT PEOPLE WORK THERE AND THEY HAVE EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED THERE. WE LOVED IT. WE WILL BE GOING BACK HOPEFULLY THIS WEEKEND. CANT WAIT :) //AV

We took our dogs and had a great time. The room was clean and the office staff very friendly and helpful. A short walk to the beach!
