When we visit Joliet again, this is our motel of choice!

This place was wonderful. My mother went with us and we had joining rooms, which we requested when we made our reservations. Our room was very clean, modern, bright and roomy. Hers was perfect in accommodating -- she is challenged in every way. She can't see -- she only sees shadows; she gets around VERY slowly -- she uses walkers to assist. However, she had a room that was geared for individuals who are challenged -- sight, mobility, hearing. The room was very spacious and bright -- plenty of room for her two (2) walkers; the door had two (2) peep holes instead of one (1) to assist individuals in wheelchairs when answering the door, and I believe it even had a door bell on the outside of her door with a light on the inside to assist people with hearing disabilities. And the bathroom -- well it was truly remarkable. The bathtub was lower than standard bathtubs to assist an individual who had troubles moving her/his legs; there were hand bars everywhere; the water facet in the tub was lowered so a person in a wheelchair could turn it on easily; the toilet was raised; two (2) hooks on the back of the door - one up; one down; and the amount of space in the bathroom - AMAZING! And to top it off -- there was a little rubber ducky left on each of our bathtubs -- that would impress a child -- it impressed me! Everything was explained at the front desk when we checked in and the day we checked out -- the bill (receipt) was under the door upon awakening. There was only one elevator; however, people were so friendly, when the elevator got full, we didn't mind waiting for the next one. I highly recommend this place! You will not regret it.
