Hampton Inn Wausau, Wausau

This is a very nice hotel. The queen size beds were extremely comfortable, and they have a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms were also quiet. The exercise room had 3 machines, towels, TV, and water. The pool was nice, but smaller than some hotels. The only problem we had was with our original assigned room. We requested a non-smoking room, and were told the room they gave us was non-smoking. The room smelled and it did not have a non-smoking sign by the door. We were told that the room was near other smoking rooms and that is why it smelled. They did move us to another room that did have the non-smoking sign by the door, and all the rooms on that floor were non-smoking. This room was much better.

Clean, Friendly, I wa treated like I was staying at the Ritz!
