I was quite impressed! This is a brand new facility with top-notch high-tech flat-screen TVs, DVDs, phone and internet connections, very nice furniture, pleasant decor, spacious full kichens with everything(!) and large desk spaces, and very comfy beds. Also with apartment style rooms perfect for large or small families. Great location, minutes away from monorail that you can take downtown, close to business centers, right off of the highway, in a spacious, quiet, clean locale. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had no problems whatsoever, and plan on returning again and again. Given the multiple amenities, brand-new spacious and well-decorated rooms, and flexible staff willing to make accomodations to please us, what more can you ask for.

The facilities were fine. The price was right. The room was quiet except that the refrigerator ran quite often during the night. We are light sleepers and that was distrubing. My fault not to notice that there was no continental breakfast. We only stayed one night and to haul in breakfast items was never a thought in our mind so we had to go out to eat the next morning. The web site said there is a restaurant on site but that was not true. I will not stay at Candlewood Suites since breakfast is important to us and we enjoy the continental breakfasts at most facilities.

We were impressed by the size and cleanliness of the room, and the kitchenette was a plus. The bed was very comfortable. All the rooms I passed down the hallway of our room were marked "No smoking", but there was obviously smoking going on because we could smell it. Our room was fine though. The free washing machines/dryers were a pleasant surprise.

I think the Candlewood suites represent a very good value for the Denver area. The room was good, with the efficiency kitchen making for a more comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and competent.
