AmericInn Bloomington East, Richfield

It was close to MOA and the Zoo. Not much for eating places right around the hotel. Rooms were clean. Not very good lighting for the mirror to put make up on.

Normally we have great experiences at AmericInn's. This one was not the greatest. First the airconditioning was not working well in the lobby and hallways. Then the hot tub did not work in the pool area. Then our non-smoking room smelled like a lit cigarette, and so did the bedding. Last and foremost, this AmericInn is in a horrible location. We did not feel safe leaving our vehicle outside unattended. We were worried that either the wheel, or the entire vehicle would be stolen. Overall, the experience was not the greatest and we will not be staying at this location again.

AmericInn is in a perfect location for those people who are looking for a nice but inexpensive hotel close to the Immigration Office or the Mall of America. Both places are within easy driving distance or close enough that you could even walk. However, the hotel said in their review that they had a shuttle service, but this service is no longer in existence. To our surprise, the management was apologetic about not changing their Internet information and even offered to pay for a taxi for us. You will find a very clean hotel with nice and helpful employees, if you stay at the AmericInn in Richfield, Minnesota. There is a small pool, free continental breakfast, cable TV, free Internet (in lobby), and a clean atmosphere.
