Home Away from Home in New York

Broadway Inn is my "home away from home" when I visit New York City. The staff is so good that it rivals the best in 4-star hotels. I remember meeting and speaking at length to a Broadway actor at a nearby restaurant. I mentioned this to a staff member upon my return. Shortly after, the actor's Googled resume was delivered to my room, without my even asking. Now that's service!
The lobby is charming, with brick walls, oriental carpets and bookcases filled with books on the theatre, ballet and more. Soft classical and jazz music provide a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The continental breakfast is excellent, with rich pastries, juice, tea and wonderful coffee.
The rooms are small (this is New York City, after all) but nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The Broadway Inn is one of the main reasons that New York City my favorite city.
