Travelodge & Oakwood Grill, Geneseo

This place used to be a place that I would reccomend people visit, stay, take there family to eat. I believe when they got there new management team; thier heads swelled and they thought they were suddenly built on a gold foundation. They got rid of all of thier caring employees, who took care of the customers. Thier customer service went right out the window. They lie about thier rates. I've seen the price of rooms sprout wings. To kick those guys out of the sun room where they have been meeting every Thursday for years was the bottom of the barrel. There are alot better places in Geneseo to spend your time, that care about manners, service, and hospitality!!!

They offer many fine things like a swimming pool friendly staff and good food. I did not see any of this. the pool has been closed for years and although they are near ready to open it, it is not. The lounge has been closed now for about 3 weeks because they did not renew the license. Please for your own peace of mind drive on past this one.

What poor and rude service. A group of over twenty of us have been having breakfast and a bible study in the back room for years,(on Thursdays) and today we waited over 30 minutes for the first cup of coffee, and over an hour for our food...no one would even acknowlege we were there....then some guy that was our server part of the time said when we were leaving "I dont know which one of you is in charge or has the biggest Bible....but next week, you guys are out front, becasue we have this room rented to someone that actually pays for it...." We would be happy to sit any where we could get waited on.....

Nice hugh....its not like the place has much business then this???
