Never Again!

They talked a great game when I called them to get the details of the place, as well as how it looked online, but for the most part, it was a joke.
Once we were there we found that other than golf, there is really nothing else to do. The fish don't bite, if you swim in the lake you will itch for several hours, the pool was full of bees, the restaurant was a joke, the game room is a ping-pong table, I could go on and on.
If they would've just told me from the get-go that this was more of an adult/golfing resort, I would've skipped it to begin with. But they make it sound like it's the best place for kids since Disneyland.
The kids were bored stiff!
I took my son out golfing just for something to do and even that was bad because the course was full of resort types who play so slow that you could read "War and Peace" between holes. Took almost 6 hours to play 18, on a Thursday none the less.
There is abolutely nothing to do in town, no mini-golf, no fun-parks, no nothin! We went there and ate dinner and got the heck outa there.
You do get to see Judy Garlands Birth-Home, that was a fun 3 minutes.
The condo had old furniture, carpet was bad, bed was hard, etc.
The patio was nice to sit on and have a beer while we sat and wished we had gone somewhere else.
If the place wasn't so far away and expensive, it would be OK for the older family. But in the end, I spent over $1,400 for 5 days of complete and utter boredom.
Unless you golf and drink a lot, stay away!
