Our stay was awesome
By Pam, 10/24/09
This hotel is gorgeous over looking the Ohio River. The bridge is breathtaking at night. Everyone was friendly and eager to accomodate us in any way possible. The breakfast was wonderful. This was our second visit. We will definitely go back.

too many shedding animals
By yahoo user, 9/14/09
I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the years and have always enjoyed the hotel until now. There are at least 2 long haired cats and one long haired dog that live in the hotel according to General Manager Elizabeth Phillips. If you are allergic to cats & dogs or just simply don't like them at all this is not the place to stay. General manager is very rude and doesn't care about the opinions of the guests. Seems to me that if you serve food in a hotel dogs and cats especially those that shed should not be allowed to live in the hotel. This may be a animal friendly hotel but that should not include animals living in the hotel. I remember a few years back when the fish & birds were added to the lobby. That was just great. Sorry but cats & dogs way to much.

horrible...stay away! Rude Ownership
By Daniel, 8/2/09
We just left a dinner at this hotel and it was horrible. TWe were going to stay the night but decided against it. The ownership and servers were very rude. I heard the owner being rude to a number of guests at check in...what owner does that. I would be embarrassed to work there. We will not be back. They even tried to charge a couple checking in for breakfast that they didn't even want. It was insane!

A bar with a hotel attached
By Travis, 8/26/08
I was in town for my 20 year high school reunion this weekend. Sadly, this nicely appointed hotel caters to the drunks from its own bar and those downtown Maysville more than any other guest. At 2:30 in the morning, going on until about 4 am, drunks roamed the halls, yelling, laughing and generally being inappropriate for the location and hour of day. When called, the front desk said that there was nothing they could do. My wife commented that she had never seen a hotel so nice allow behavior so trashy. This hotel has apparently become a bar that just happens to rent rooms. Never will I pay to stay here again.

LOVES IT!!!
By Jason T, 5/27/08
If you ever travel to Maysville KY, the best place to saty in at the French Quarter Inn downtown Maysville. It has a excellent view of the Ohio river and the staff are very friendly, its like home away from home.

What a great place to stay! We rode motorcycles from Toledo Ohio to Maysville. This hotel is very clean and close to a lot of bars and restaurants.

It exceeded my expectations.
By Nothing, 8/4/05
Maysville was my Dad's home town He moved to California in 1924 but his heart remained in the town. On my visit to the town two years ago it was suggested I stay in your hotel - it was a nice experience. The service was quite nice and the staff very helpful. On my next visit to Dad's home town, I will certainly stay at the Inn.

Your only choice, and not bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/27/05
This is absolutely the only decent place to stay..It is quite a charming place, but not fancy. It has good food, a nice little lobby bar, and you can walk to many other historic downtown sites as well. last time I was there, they had no high speed internet though.
