Great Stay!
We visited the hotel for business for three nights and it was great. So much larger than I thought it would be and very clean. It really did feel like home away from home. The courtesy breakfast was wonderful, a real breakfast not just danish and coffee but instead fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. Plus so much more!
The staff there was so kind and helpful as well. Any of our request were met with a smile and helpfulness that it very much appreciated.
The gym is small but each time I paid a visit there I was alone so it wasn't ever crowded. They have two treadmills, a cycle, free weights and a wonderful other machine thats kinda like cross country skiing. It was my favorite. And the hotel provides you with fresh towels and a tv. Only suggestion: be sure to bring your water bottle. There isn't a water cooler in the gym but I believe there is one in the lobby nearby.
The only thing I would maybe wish was a little better was that one of the maids didn't knock before attempting to enter the room and didn't notice our 'No Service' sign on our door. But she was apologetic and all was well.
I would definetly recommend The Residence Inn to anyone. I would also recommend Austins Restaraunt. Its not far from the hotel on S. Virginia. They were great and the food very yummy. And Smiths Grocery store is just across the way from the hotel and was wonderful. I honestly have never been to a better stocked store ever. Anything you may need will defintetly be there!
