Harbor Inn Georgetown, Georgetown

Every year my family and I come to georgetown and we end up staying here. The rooms are clean and well worth the cost. I highly reccomend this hotel!

The room was very clean! I Loved the view of the creek in the back patio! It was a great view! For the money, it was well worth the stay! Im glad i chose this hotel!

I thoroughly enjoyed the stay! Nice, clean rooms and conveninatly located between charleston and myrtle beach! The hotel was well worth the money while providing internet, a fridge and microwave in the rooms and an outdoor pool! I highly reccomend this hotel!

I recently had a guest come from out of town and recommended this motel. Not 30 minutes after we got there he recevied a banging on the door. When he went to see who it was a woman was outside his door offering a sexual act for $10.00. She persisted after we told her to leave. My friend refuses to come back to Georgetown now. I will nenver recommend this place to anyone again!!!!!

Unfortunately, I didn't see these reviews before booking a night at the harbor inn. The service was bad and the rooms barely acceptable. I would never recommend this to any of my acquaintances. Definitely spend the few extra dollars to get a decent place. The receptionist at the front desk was incredibly rude. We had to return for a few questions and had to wait a few minutes because she was on her cell phone and the "hotel's" phone at the same time. I also had some issues with payment. I used a debit card on which a hold was placed for the entire stay. When I arrived, another charge of the same amount was placed on my account, in addition to the hold. When I asked about it, my questions weren't really answered, I was just told "the hold is to make sure the owner gets his money, so if you don't show up, he still gets his money." She also told me that her manager would know what to do, but he would be out of town until later that week. The name is also misleading. To be appropriately named it should be the highway motel.
