Hampton Inn St Augustine Beach, St. Augustine

To simply put, just great. The wife and I stayed the first night at the days inn, big mistake. We checked out and went down to road to the Hampton and were so happy. Got a room on pool side, very clean and roomy. walk to the beach is short maybe 30 yards from the pool. The free breakfest is a nice throw in. The staff were really nice to us. Who ever reads this, there are not many nice hotels on the beach, this is one of them.

After a very big disappointment in Charlston and despite some very negative comments on this Hampton Inn Hotel my family and I really enjoyed our one day stay here. We felt welcome here, the staff from the front desk to the cleaning personell were so friendly and helpful with anything we asked. Our room is on the forth floor, very nicely furnished, clean in every aspect. Nice bathroom, spacious although we are 4 persons in the room. The pool is a little small but maintained well and again, - clean -. One can reach the wonderful beach within a minute walking distance. They even provide towels in the hotel to be used at the beach and the pool. To us, this place was a real pleasure and I can recommend it to people who are on normal budget expecting a good time with kids or without; you have very good value for money. As I did not want to use the car anymore for dinner, we went accross the street to a simple looking like restaurant . Again, we were not disappointed. Very friendly people and good food, tasty, prepared nicely and all taht at a good price. If you want to go downtown, it just takes you 10 minutes by car. The city is a little like a plyground and completely commercialized. So, better stay at the beach and relax. Your kids will appreciate that as well.

With the best restaurant across the street and the beach at the backdoor, this hotel has great location! Make sure, though, that you get an oceanfront room because after you check-in, you will be glad you did! Location is not the only great thing about this hotel , because the rooms are great! With big, white, fluffy beds, these beds are the best beds in a hotel that I've ever stayed at. Service is great, too! The cookies that they put out on the front desk for the guest every night is just one example of how you will be treated. Breakfast is one of the best breakfasts in St. Augustine! This just shows you how Hampton Inn St. Augustine is working for you!

Wonderful location with a property that is less then 10 years old. Good beach access and fishing opportunities near by. Clean, friendly and helpful staff with good local knowledge on the best places to go.
