Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!
After a long, and exhausting trip, 700 non-stop miles, I fond myself to tired to go any further. I was in a town in Virginia called South Hill. I had never heard of this place and therefore had no idea where I would find accomodations for the night. As I approached the the town I saw a sign for the Hampton Inn and let out a sigh of relief. I had stayed in several Hampton Inns in the past, and always found my visit a pleasant one. Now mind you, I was dog tired, and in a pretty bad mood so I was not very nice to the staff at first. All I wanted was room, and some sleep. Well let just say that their treatment of me completely changed my demeanor. When they were done making a fuss over me, seeing to it that I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable, and engaging me in their conversation, I was a renewed, revitalized, and so refreshed that I forgot to be tired. After about 20 minutes or so of great fun, I was assigned a room. It was beautiful ! It had a sweet southern feel that reminded me of home. Needless to say, I had an incredible nights sleep. I woke up the next morning in a great mood, and ready to continue on my way. Only 500 more miles to go. I want to thank the Hampton Inn South Hill Virginia, and their wonderful staff, especially Lynn and Bill for making what began as a terrible day into an awesome one. Loved it ! Loved it ! Loved it !
