Wedding Stay Ruined
By Danielle, 9/9/10
I highly recommend NOT staying at this hotel. I was part of a bridal party that stayed at this hotel the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding. We could not have had a WORSE experience. 90% of our wedding party had flea bites the morning after the wedding. 1 of the guests from the wedding had to actually go to the doctor and get a prescription for medication because her flea bites were so bad. The manager, Mit Shah, was extremely rude and accused us of threatening him and replied that we probably got our flea bites from the wedding reception (I THINK NOT). Also, one tip for this hotel, hard boiled eggs sitting out at your continental breakfast will cause your ENTIRE hotel to smell. If you do stay here, I recommend the short walk to Dunn Brothers in Chaska for breakfast. You will need some fresh air anyways. DON'T STAY HERE. Even after a HORRIBLE stay, they accuse you of many things and refuse to refund your hotel stay. Also, the hotel staff would rather congregate in back rooms and closets doing god knows what (use your imagination) than assisting guests. NO GO!!!!

Travel with kids
By Donna Lee, 10/3/09
We have stayed two years in a row with 4 kids and we all enjoyed our stay. Breakfast, pool, staff, location to Valley Fair & Renassance and they had the tickets right there. I would recommend this place in a heart beat. They are upgrading and the 2 room suites for 3 adults and 4 kids worked just fine.

Unpleasant Experience
By Donna, 6/20/07
We were not aware that it was a "pet" hotel until we found ourselves on a floor with barking dogs. After a couple of complaints, the end result was moving us to another room the next morning -- without any sleep the night before. The room we moved to had a very old air conditioner that sounded louder than the jet we had come in on -- still no sleep. The hotel definitely needs some renovations and improved cleanliness. When visiting Chaska again, we would not choose this Best Western.

Night before wedding
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/9/05
Myself and most of my wedding party stayed here in the summer of 2003 the night before my wedding, which took place in Chaska at the city gazebo. We loved the location, and also the abundance of both smoking and non-smoking rooms. Many of the party took advantage of the pool to relax. We utilized the complimentary wake-up service as well. Once woken up, we made our way down to the complimentary continental breakfast (which included waffles!). As I am one who has to eat breakfast, I always make it a point to stay somewhere with a continental. Also, the rooms all had mini-fridges, which is nice to keep your own beverages and save on pop-machine costs. Overall, I thought it was great. Great location, clean, comfortable, and the staff was great. They even have a covered drop-off area, and heated first-come, first-serve underground parking! A great value.
