HATE this place-DON't do it
By Kimberly, 3/18/11
I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL. I stayed 3 nights and had the worst stay ever. There were no wash rags , we had to wash with BIG hand towels. Day 2 no one came to clean the room. Day 3 it took 4 hours to get clean towels. There was NO HOT WATER for 2 days and they told us there is nothing they could do about it. The carpet in the room looked nasty as well as the pool . I HATE this hotel… keep your money.

I will not go back to this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/17/10
The only thing I liked about this hotel was the balcony, hot water, and the nice front desk host. I did not like the floors. The carpet was dirty. This hotel is not close to the action. This hotel is about 2.5 to 3.0 miles away from the action area. The eatery was under construction. Bath room needs lots of work. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sixty Sixty gets a Three
By Suzy_Q_Homemaker, 9/29/09
Pros - I loved the lighting for the floors. We were on the 7th floor and our hallway was green. There was cable and internet in the rooms. The shower was hot and the room looked lovely. My carpet wasn't messy as with the other reviews. I had my 11 month old crawling/walking daughter with me so of course, I would look at the floors. We had a balcony view facing the water. The staff was amazingly nice. They let us use the pool after hours. The toilet overflowed and they immediately fixed it. Cons - Maids only spoke Spanish and I only know so little of it. I don't think they changed the sheets until the last day of our 5 day stay. Bathroom wasn't always restocked with rags for some reason. I had to clean out the tub twice while I was there. We couldn't see the ocean due to it being blocked by other buildings.

Lemonade out of Lemons
By MALCOLM, 5/23/07
Upon checking into the hotel my friends and I were quite disappointed. It was three of us and we were not aware that ALL the rooms had ONE bed and most had a sofa bed. Fortunately for us, our room had a sofa bed. The room was spacious and the decor was nice. We made due with what we had since we had traveled from North Carolina and Atlanta, GA. The hardest thing to grasp was that there were NO ice machines in the entire hotel---NONE. I have NEVER stayed at a hotel with NO ice machines. The advertised FREE internet was not free at all. We each had to pay @30 for the service. The restaurant was not open. We had to buy a cooler and ice from a nearby store. We just couldn't get over not having an ice machine in the entire hotel.

It was alright
By Julia Tucker, 4/9/07
I wouldn't pay what they ask for. We got this hotel off Hotwire so we got it for a little over 100.00/night. I say spend the extra money and stay at South Beach. What you will spend extra on the hotel you will spend on cab rides to restaraunts. The beach is a few blocks away, but there is not really any restaraunts. There is one called Normans. They have awesome food. We at there almost everyday we were there. Just stay on South Beach. It's also not as nice as the pictures make it out to be.

The staff are as cold as ice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/19/07
If you are looking for a place that will cut you off from the rest of the world and it's cares.. Sixty sixty is the place. Along with this , unfortunately, comes a very rude and unfriendly staff who don't seem to care that others have spent their hard earned money to stay at their property. The rudeness is not just unhelpfulness either, it is downright, in-your-face cheek and a complete unlwillingness to even try to assist guests far away from home in need of help or a little leeway. The rooms are very clean and pleasant however.

it was horrible
By Lita Ramdeo, 7/25/06
we had reservation and tried to check in they didnt have our room available for us. we waited there for hours and it still wasnt available, and we were so tired that we already made the reservations that we weren't up to looking for another hotel ,they said they had a restaurant in the hotel when we got there it was in repair the pool was flithy and their spa was closed. They never said anything about mandatory parking until we got there which is 15 dollars a night. our room wasnt that great either the only thing nice about the hotel is the evelator , and the staff was rude! i would never stay there again
