Avi Resort and Casino, Laughlin

We stopped at the Avi on the way home from Laughlin, I didn't have my Avi players card from months ago and decided to get a replacement. In August when I got my first players card and with only a few people in line ahead of us, it took a long time to finish our transactions. This time on January 2nd I saw that there was a long line and only 2 people working the box office. We decided to stand in line and when I realized it was going at snails pace we decided it was not worth it, we would probably have to wait hours to get waited on so we left the line and went to gamble anyway. This is not good customer service.

AVI is a great resort when you are traveling with kids.. My kids (2) loved the pool they played and had much fun. They also loved the DayCare. I loved the priced it was a perfect 4 day get away vacation. I can't wait to go back.

At the Avi we were treated like a welcome guest not a someone to fill space in a room. We enjoyed the friday nite seafood buffet and the breakfast buffet and would recomend to all families. There was entertainment for all ages. The staff was very friendly and made our family feel like being home. The pool was the best part of the stay. There was no gambling nor servers pushing drinks while we played in the pool. We were able to bring our own ice chest to the pool area which saved us a lot of money. Give the AVI a try the next time you visit Laughlin.

Watch your credit card at the Avi they are scamers, do not stay at the AVI ever . We used to stay at the Avi 3 years ago someone is riping people off we are reporting it to our credit card company. Also they lie they tell you all rooms are remodeled but they are not you will get an old room and false charges be very careful .

We tried to use an ATM in the casino. In the middle of the transaction it timed out. We were promised numerous times that the money would not come out of our account. IT DID! AVI informed me the next day that no one would have said such a thing and was then referred to the company whom own the machines. My only recourse now? File a complaint with my bank and wait 30 days. Thank you AVI for the professionalism, concern and consistency you bestowed upon us during our first visit to your establishment!!!!

we enjoyed staying at the Avi. The only problem I ran into was the bed was too hard. Requested an upgrade so I could sleep on a better bed but all the beds were the same according to the staff.

My husband and I took our girls to Avi for a week of vacation. The girls LOVED the pool and beach. They especially enjoyed the Kids Quest...and so did we. After dropping the girls off to play at Kids Quest, we had a nice romantic dinner at the Italian restaurant, then enjoyed a movie. Before picking up the girls, we strolled the beach on the Colorado River. Before leaving we rented some jet skis at the hotel and took the girls out on the river. They have a $.99 breakfast served 24 hours a day in the Cafe, among other things. The Buffet is quite good with many selections. It was reasonably priced. The Italian dinner was good as well. They have other items on the menu, but they have an all you can eat pasta dinner with a salad and glass of wine for a good price. Only issue was the internet. We had to put our laptop on top of a box close to the door to have reception and we were close to the internet point. However, we were there for vacation, so this wasn't a huge issue. We have visited Avi on three occasions and enjoyed every one. We highly recommend it. It is a drive out, but well worth the drive. Nearby attractions: Oatman (Ghost Town), London Bridge (Lake Havasu, AZ), Riverboat to the Davis Dam, and a museum on the AZ side of the Colorado.

liked everthing so much that we go to the avi at least twice a month. we live nearby in lake havasu az. and could very easily go to laughlin to the other resort/casinos there, but we think the avi has got the other properties beat.

HI, LIVE IN LAKE HAVASU AND GO TO THE AVI FREQUENTLY.... check in was pleasant..and fast..river rooms are nice and clean. The bingo staff is fun and VERY HELPFUL. My husband and i go to get out of town,,and just relax and have fun. The Feathers cafe is excellent!! Staff very friendly...I recommend this hotel for others to just relax..it is very low-key..if you want alot of HOOPLA...i suggest Vegas were there are more hotels and people...We love it as locals!! Keep up the good work AVI !!!!

This hotel literaly has it all. The staff there were nice and greated us with hello's every day. They have a nice little beach on the river behind the hotel where you can rent jet ski's. The pool is really nice with a spa and a place to get drinks (alcoholic and non). The casino looked big but I didnt play any. If any of you are going for the fireworks like I did, here is some info cause there is not much on the internet. The Avi has a gas station outside the hotel with a 7 11. inside the 7/11 to the right of the store, they have the firework section. I have to warn you right now, Its not very big, but they have some really good assortments that have more in them. The store sells Great Grizzly brand fireworks, but they dont sell nearly all of them. I bought 1 assortment and it lasted us 2 nights. Everything is pretty cheap there though. I hope you guys decide to go to the Avi, because it was a lot of fun
