Econo Lodge Salem, Salem

This place is awful. It looks alright from the photos on the net, but once you get there it's like a whole different dirty place. First the huge pool they show, it's like a 1/4 that size. The hotel is right infront of train tracks, good news though, they only passes every 30- 60 minutes and really the loud noise isnt bad, but the sahking will get you. THe room is gross and dirty, may look clean, but after sleeping in there you will feel like the bugs had a better night then you did. beds are old and hard, sheets don't fit, so you will fight with them all night. the fridge and microwave are a bad joke from the 70's, ok maybe 80's. it was so bad. we stayed one night and left the next day ( we paid for two) oh and on that note, do not except a refunding for leaving due to their room coniditon or any other reason, they do not give one. But it's highly worth paying the money and not staying there. Oh and the bath tub, i wouldn't even call it that, it's like a large sink on the floor, perfect for a baby, howevere i would never allow a child to touch the floors in tha bathroom let alone jump in the shower with all that lovely hair and junk that they left for us.

This hotel was good in all aspects. A nice place to enjoy. Good service was given by the hotel staff, would like to visit this place again along with my family and friends
