Comfort Inn Burlington, Burlington

I made a reservation for 2 nights. When I arrived to check in I double checked that I had the room for 2 nights and the receptionist told me no and that they were full the next night and that the employee that took the booking must have made a mistake and was most un-helpful and just said that I could take it or leave it I ended up staying at a different hotel and will never stay here again

Concidering the circumstances we were very pleased with the confort inn and the people of Burlington. We got stranded in Burlington by a Blizzard for 4 days until they opened I-70 (Dec 28th 2006 through Jan 01 2007). The staff gave us the discounted rate out of kindness over us being stranded. They served free meals all day long each day. They also retrieved 7 microwaves from inventory for the guest to cook their own frozen dinners. The staff was also stranded and they slept in shifts and cleaned the rooms until the cleaning staff was brought in by 4 wheel drive a couple of days into the storm. The indoor jacuzzi and pool made the blizzard a nice experience. If you every get stranded by a Blizzard I hope you are near Burlington.

Not sure what I did to the staff, but the service was horrible. Their "high speed internet service" plugs into the wall and is not high speed. Considered using my modem connection for a faster connection. The first day I checked in they were out of "internet connections". They stated they would put me in a "waiting list" for available devices. They never got back to me, I had to ask to check out a device to connect to the intenet. Good thing I got back earlier the next day to get a device. The facility is about par for this area of Colorado.
