At least you'd want your towel clean, wouldn't ya?

The hotel has very close and convenient access to Portsmouth downtown. It also has a large free parking lot. Everything else is what you can usually expect from an average 3-star hotel... until I found a towel in the bathroom smelled like used. After I sensed its un-cleanliness, I took another towel and noticed the smelly towel even has different color from others -- yellowish. I felt really awful and took shower again. Then I was hurrying to check-out and briefly mentioned this to the lady at the front desk. Maybe I'm too naive in this sort of things; what I heard back was just "oh, that's bad. You are all set!", not a word sounding like "sorry".
