Poor Manager Not going back

I stayed for 3 days...was supposed hold $262.10 against my credit card...that was all I authorized...instead $295.46 was held...I was told the extra was in case we wanted something extra...there are no extra costs at this motel...there are no extras to offer...when I questioned the manager he was rude and told me the extra money would be returned and if I didn't like the way they did business, I didn't need to stay at a Howard Johnson. He then refused to give me the Corporate Phone number. I question there business pratices and will never stay at another Howard Johnson and plan to contact the better business bureau and the Local Chamber of Commerce in Beckley, and inform my friends of the business pratices of Howard Johnson Motels. I will also follow up and find out the Corporate phone number and tender my complaint...Very Rude Manager!
