The staff made the stay all worth it
The best part of staying at this hotel can be summed up in three words.....Robert...J...Sexton. He is the doorman/concierge/receptionist at night at the hotel. The man is pure comedy gold. He made our entire trip to Ireland worth it. If you stay here, spend a minute and chat this elderly man up. He is full of wisdom and is bound to make you laugh. As far as the hotel itself, it was okay. It was in a great location next to the Temple Bar area and was a great base to explore the city centre. The rooms were alittle bit small, but considering the location it is easily overlooked. Plus, why spend so much time in your hotel room anyway! Go out and explore the city. The bar connected to the hotel is pretty good too with live music every night. It does get loud in your rooms with the music being played downstairs, so I would recommend this hotel to 20 somethings who are out to see a new city. And I can't stress enough how great Robert the receptionist is. He is an Irish national treasure.
