A real life saver

My family and I had to stay here for ninety plus days while relocating to the area. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms are clean. The little pool and rec area is nice. Movie theaters within walking distance and a fantastic grocery store around the corner.
 
 
 
 
 
All the necessities but a bit run down

Although not the sort of place I'd pick for a vacation (maybe because I don't like golf), the Residence Inn is well-situated within Southern Pines, offers free high speed Internet access, and complimentary use of the nearby Gold's Gym. With wallpaper peeling from the bathroom wall and linoleum rolling up along the edges of the kitchenette, I'd be hard-pressed to go above 3 stars. That being said, my gut feeling is that I'll be back here the next time I have business to attend to in Southern Pines.

Excellent hotel choice!

Stayed 1 night in April 2005 at Residence Inn as part of a golf package. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I am very picky about where I stay and this hotel passed the test. Very clean, spacious, 2 bedroom/2 bath suite with great shower, comp. hot breakfast, whirlpool tub at pool, excellent, quiet safe neighborhood, and friendly staff were all part of my experience. It's off the main strip (hwy 1) but within 5/10 minutes of everything. To add I played and loved The Pit and enjoyed dinner at JFR Barn (steak/seafood). I will stay at this hotel again.
