Anniversary Inn, Salt Lake City

This is a unique and romantic get away spot. Depending on the room you choose you can feel that you are some where far away or exotic, with the convenience of being close to home. We love the large jetted in room bathtubs, large screen t.v. with free DVDs complementary mint and sparkling cider and exceptional in room delicious and generous breakfast.

Loved the creativity of the jungle room, but I got no sleep. When I first enetered the room, a book containing previous people's detailed comments about their romance was on the table. It grossed me out and I didn't want to touch anything- I felt haunted. Light was shining in all night through a large crack in the wall, and the cleaning service woke us up a lot. If not for that, I would have enjoyed it a lot more becuase the room was so fun and detailed. It's in a great location close to many nice restaurants. It's fun staying in such a unique room, but I don't want to read about what people did in that room before me.

We loved this place just for the fact to get awsy. The movies that you could take to your room were a little out dated. But ordering food and having them bring it right to your room was amazing. You really rarely had to leave your room! WE LOVED IT!!!

My wife and I wanted to go some place nice for a night, we heard the advertising and thought this would be a nice place to stay, well.... We reserved a room... our first mistake, we checked in... our second mistake. Why... well let me tell you. This place is OLD, needs to be refurbished, painted, cleaned etc... it's pretty bad when you walk down the hall and you can see where people have walked becase of the dirt path on the carpet. One more, well the jetted tub needed to be scrubbed, the non-skid pieces they have in the tub had grime/dirt ground into them. I think you get the idea... For the money that I paid for the room, I expected a lot more.

I heard about the fun atmosphere for all to experience at this hotel. What a wonderful place to create for couples to go and rediscover their youthful romantic feelings for one another. We look forward to spending time there and being spoiled by the lavish themes available.

We were able to slip into the sands of time in perfect comfort as we stayed in the mysteries of Egypt. The room was phenomenal and the experience was unmatched!

My wife and I heard that this place was good so we gave it a try. We stayed there on our 2nd anniversary. When we finally found the place we walked to the front desk and both of the ladies (front desk people) were occupied very busily on the phone. They weren't cheerful at all, especially since it was our anniversary and considering the place is called " anniversary inn". This place used to litterally be a jail and it feels like you staying with inmates. When we walked in the room the radio was on very loud. The carpet was extremely dirty with hard crusty chocolate stains on it. The sheets had grease spots and were dusty, as if they hadn't washed them. They were extremely unfriendly when we mentioned these problems. They eventually moved us to a different room, which was a little bit cleaner. The rooms are also fairly small. The breakfast was o.k.

A very fun place to stay, the rooms all follow themes and make for a very romantic setting. Not like anywhere you've ever stayed!
