Cottage Grove Inn, Calistoga

I liked the price of the cottage although our friends all stayed at the Oberge de Solie. We were stranded in a town outside of Napa and lined up to the main street where you could hear cars go by. The nosy old women that ran the place were rude to the point of mentioning to me that I had started my menstral cycle while sleeping in my bed during the night. I was horrified ,but had to leave early the next morning to go to the airport and couldn't take the sheets off of the bed. She called me and told me how rude I was and then charged me for hangers in the room that we had never used. She also sent me some reading classes and charged me overnight prices for something I didn't even want. We were shocked because they were the only hotel with last minute reservations and now I know why. The only reservations anyone should make with Cottage Grove is just to have reservations about staying there. It smells like smoke from a dirty fireplace and the people that work there are horrrible old women. If you are of menstration age 12-50 do not stay at this hotel.
