Can't recommend it if you like a decent hot tub
My wife and I like the hot tub to be hot; somewhere around 102-103F. I measured this hot tub at 96.2F The sign in the pool/spa area stated that 104F was the maximum so I don't know why they couldn't boost it up. When we checked in on Sunday, the water was luke warm, we asked that they increase it and a couple hours later it was about 100F I would guess. Monday around dinner time, same story, luke warm water, I requested a bump in temperature and again, a couple hours later they had it at a decent level. Tuesday, we did not use the tub. Wednesday, about dinner time, I asked again that they increase the temp. and the clerk told me she didn't know how to do that and I guess she didn't want to call any one. Today, Thursday, same story. This time the clerk, I think it was the same one, told me that there were parameters that the tub must be kept at and I pointed out that it was no where close to the posted 104F. She became defensive when I pointed out that on Sunday and Monday they had complied with our request but she must have talked to someone and they got inside her head. To make my point, I went out last night and bought a $10 meat thermometer at Walmart and measured it last night at 96.2F What I don't understand is if it is broken, then fix it. If their policy states that 96F is max. temp. then take down the sign in the tub area. However, if it is a policy, apparently it can be overriden as evidenced by the clerks on Sun. and Mon. nights raising the temp. This may be a motel that is coasting; that is not maintaining efquipment as it breaks. An example of that is two water fountains in the pool vicinity, neither one works. If you are just passing through the area looking for a bed, this will work. If you want a hot tub, better check the Super Eight just up the street from here.
