most gorgous place ive ever stayed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/11
it was simply stunning from the moment we walked in; the room was awesome. it was our daughters 1st trip to disney and definatly the best place ive ever stayed; very friendly staff; most helpfull; beautiful pools; we enjoyed our stay completly and coming back to this hotel every evening was icing on the cake. its a memory all three of us will never forget. i cant see how one person can say anything negative of this place; i have friends here in michigan who have stayed here also; they say its on the top of their list too. so if your thinking of booking- dont hesitate- you wont regret it!

An enjoyable much needed spring break!!!
By reana, 7/18/11
I chose this resort on a whim....not knowing much about it!! I needed a deserved break!!! I checked in late ( because i called ahead to inform about traffic) Yes it was a road trip...but i'm happy i made it. My children enjoyed themselves so much,....they didn't want to go to Disney World. Go figure!!! their ages 10 and 7. They made new friends at the resort. What i disliked and what wasn't clear was the vallet parking...i was charged twice in one day....only one day was credited...great service for check in and out...didn't really use the concierge. Housekeeping was awesome because my little one had an accident and they responded quickly. Staff was awesome. Food was awesome i wish they had more vegetarian selection but i was ok going out if needed. it was worth my time and money..suggestion plan ahead ...your trip will be smoother and enjoyable!!! I'm planning for New years as we speak. thank you and this is added to my list of favorite unheard of places.

Horrible!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/23/11
Overcharged my credit card by $350 and refuses to fix it, if there is a manager they hide them I have been asking to speak to one daily and no one will return my call, accounting department is unprofessionally rude. Oh, and our villa smelled like cigarette smoke.

Stayed for two weeks....
By KarenD, 1/7/10
My boyfriend and I just came back from Orlando. We stayed at the Caribe Royal from 12/20-1/2. We got a great package deal on hotels.com. This hotel was fantastic. We had great service and everyone was pleasant, including other guests. The location was really great. The suites with the living area and the door really helped to add to the privacy. The room looked just like the website. They had movie night out by the pool during the week of Christmas and New Year's. The fitness center was great, as well as the arcade. The breakfast at the Tropicale was really good. All in all, I will most definitely stay here again.

Can't beat this suite !
By Thomas David, 12/20/09
Great size and value. Clean large rooms. Close to Disney. Shuttles to Disney, but not the greatest times - about once an hour in morning and evening. We rented a car to have more flexabity, but remember it will cost $14 + tolls to park at the theme parks.

Excellent
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/1/09
We stayed at the Caribe Royale recently in one of the 2 bedroom villas. We felt that this hotel was a great value, clean, great location, awesome pool, service was exceptional, restaurants were very nice and the 24 hour all night deli was very helpful. I am pretty fussy and I did not find one issue to complain about. We would most certainly return without hesitation.

Amazing hotel, can't wait to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/15/09
Oh wow this hotel was amazing. We stayed here for 3 nights for a pageant that was in one of the ballrooms over in the convention center. We went to the pool everyday that we were there. It has a kiddie pool, a waterfall, a waterslide, a little bar, 2 hot tubs, and so much more. We stayed in one of the one bedroom suites in tower 2, we had a view of the pool, 2 queen beds, a seperate living room, 2 tvs, and a nice little kitchen area. Even with only 2 beds we figured out a way to make room for 7 people to sleep in the room comfortably. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. I have no complaints at all. I would deffinatly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay in a resort type hotel. They had great service and brought us towels and came and made the beds when we asked (since we still had some people sleeping in the room when housekeeping came) This hotel also offers babysitting, which we didn't use I'm not exactly sure how i would feel about someone I don't know watching my kids, but that is a pretty cool thing to offer that I don't think i've ever seen in a hotel. We had some smoothies down by the pool one day, it was so relaxing, I wish we were still there. We didn't go to any theme parks while we were there, but we did drive past sea world, and aquatica on the way to get some dinner, so it was very close to those theme parks. We only live about 2 hours from orlando but I would love to come back. The hotel was fun in itself, just to get away, you wouldn't even have to go to a theme park to have fun here. Go to this hotel if you want to get away I was very impressed and can't wait to go back!

Bad experience
By James, 1/9/09
First of all the good- the one bedroom suite was nice, and the restaurant and pool staff were superb. The kids loved the big pool with the slide and waterfall. However, our problems started at check-in. The front desk clerk was clearly not well trained, and had to ask others clerks several times how to process our check-in. The "concierge" is not really a concierge but just a salesperson for timeshares, who then got rude when I decided not to show for the timeshare presentation she booked me for due to a language barrier. I have better things to do on vacation than going to a sales pitch. Housekeeping failed to clean our room two of the seven days we were there, and one morning the housekeeping staff tried entering the room despite a "Do not disturb" on the door. The location is OK but fairly isolated- nothing much in easy walking/driving distance. There are much better values for the money in the Orlando/Disney area.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere
By pleezeme1988, 6/21/08
I really liked the hotel. The pool closed too early for the kids but no other complaints other than that. The room was very clean. I really liked the family scene. The water slide in the pool is great for the kids. Will stay there again and again.

TERRIBLE STAY!!! TRAVELERS BEWARE!
By Acapulquena, 5/26/08
The hotel itself its okay. However, the staff and customer service of the facility is completely inadequate. When we checked into the hotel the front desk clerk was not familiar with the hotel itself (even thou we were told the clerk had worked there for 3 years). We had simple questions as to the shuttle service and the restaurants of the facility. Of course, she was not able to answer any of our questions, instead she referred us to Guest Services, which was not open at the time. When we attempted to get a hold of Guest Services the next day, we were placed on hold by the front office or when we were transfered to them, there was no answer. This happened at least 5 times. Also, we made the mistake of purchasing tickets from the hotel to a dinner show, they of course misinformed us of the starting time and because of that we missed the first 30 mins of the show. When we complained to the Hotel manager that night, he was very rude to us, did not offer any apologies, blamed Guest Services for all of the "confusion" and furthermore asked us if we had requested a copy of the contract between the hotel and guest services, which of course, according to him they were two different entities and had no relations with the hotel itself. Go figure! We had at least 4 other occasions in which the staff was very rude and did not offer any assistance. MOST IMPORTANTLY, IF YOUR A MARRIED WOMAN NOT TRAVELING WITH YOUR HUSBAND BE PREPARED TO ANSWER QUESTIONS FROM THE HOTEL STAFF AS TO HIS WEAR ABOUTS & IF IN FACT HE PAID FOR THE TRIP. SO SIMPLY BE PREPARED TO BE OFFENDED!
