Not what I expect from Holiday Inn!

First room we were assigned, the "power toilet" was not flushing properly and was loose on it's base and so wobbled when sat on. Lobby clerk said (twice) I rent that room everyday and no one else ever complained."-- as if I were lying! Re-assigned room next door. We were in the room for about 15 seconds before we walked back out. Toilet worked fine there but wall lamp was hanging upside down loosely. I returned to the lobby. Clerk greets me with "What's the problem now?" I tell her about the lamp and she proceeds to say that she just walked down and the toilet in our first room was flushing fine. This was a complete lie bc. there is NO WAY that she could have gotten past us to check the toilet when we were moving our things to the room right next door and then make it all the way back to the lobby before me. One of our party would have seen her coming or going.
Because of the maintenance issues of this facility and the rudeness with which I was treated, we left and went elsewhere.
