Sunrise Inn, Forrest City

While this was obviously a nice Days Inn, it has fallen into serious disrepair and filth. The rugs were absolutely filthy. The kitchenette had food caked on the microwave and refrigerator. There was a handicapped chair for the tub which had blood all over it. The toilet had obviously not been cleaned in months as there was mildew growing around it. When we turned on the AC there was a strong urine smell. There was a hole in the ceiling over the bed. They do accept dogs, that's about the only good thing I can say.

A good price, and allows dogs for cheaper than anywhere else ($5 per animal). Beds were comfortable, shower was good and hot. It appeared as though they had remodelled the front building, were in the process of remodelling the second building, and we were in the third (unremodelled) building. I hope they plan to remodel it, because the rooms are very large and spacious, especially for the price. The carpets were pretty grungy feeling, and I felt it needed an in-depth cleaning. They have a fridge and microwave in the rooms, and I think with a little face-lift, it will be a great place to stay!

Nice clean hotel in a convenient location. Front desk clerk was very friendly; the check in and out went smoothly. We weren't there long enough to check out all of the amenities but they looked to be clean and in working order. The only complaint I had was the shower head was crooked and sprayed most of the water on the shower wall. On our next visit to Forrest City we will most likely use this hotel again.
