Great location. Staff was unfriendly and rude. Room was not clean. I will never return to this hotel.

I didn't have a good experience in this hotel. I booked a king room and got a single(?). I booked two nights and was charged for three. The check-in and check-out was a horrible experience. I don't recommend this hotel under any circumstance.

Yes, I left jewelry when I checkout out on 9/5/10. Stupid, I know, but that doesn't justify the housekeeping department stealing it and then lying about the theft. I lost my jewelry, but they lost my and my friends' future business.

My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary. It was very pleasant and cleaned. We arrived before our check-in time and was able to get our room then. The valet was perfect, no issues at all. We were on a budget, which made the The Queen & Crescent even more fascinating. As for the hidden fees, we were well aware of the $7.95 fee before we arrived. Would definitely stay again, actually have already booked next visit.

I cant even start to begin at how awful this hotel experience was. The first night we were there (got in around 1 am), we were immediately treated rudely by the front desk. They force you to pay for the "premium" package which is supposed to include the safe and wifi in your room (along with local calls). The safe was broke, no wifi was available, and they still made us pay it. We then called down about 30 minutes later to get a cab called. The front desk lady actually said 'what, you cant walk that far?'. Not joking, she was serious. The next morning, we complained about the room (which had no air). We were told that we could change rooms, but we would be unable to stay in the hotel past 11 and had to wait until 4 to come back. When we actually went to complain, here was the beginning of the conversation: us "we would like to complain about our room for the last night" them "oh, are yall the ones that were causing troubles last night" us "um, no, we werent even here but 30 minutes" them "so, yall arent the spring breakers that are loud?" Then, as we were leaving the hotel per their rules, the valet was backed up. There were several people waiting for their cars over 1.5 HOURS!!! We were told that our car was lost and we would have to wait. After waiting an hour, we threatened to call the police and have them come get our car for us. Miraculously, our car showed up 15 minutes after that. They have two elevators, one broke, causing you to wait another 15-20 minutes in line with people and their luggage trying to get to their floor. After about 3 times in which we couldnt fit, we finally made it in the elevator. The second room we had was much better. The safe was still broke and we had no wifi still. But it was cleaner and you could tell from the way it was cleaned that the first room never was. We ended up parking the car on the street after that and just leaving it parked. I would never recommend this hotel, valet, or anything dealing with them. Sad part is, if there was good customer service, things wouldnt have been so upsetting. But when we threatened the police, we were literally told "go call them, I dont care".....

I think I found the problem with this Hotel, everything. We arrived Wed. Nov 25 and planned to stay till Sat the 28. Could not take it anymore and left Fri. the 27. When we arrived the Hotel was virtually empty and we had made reservations on Bookit for a king room. The desk clerk was very nice and put us in a king room on the second floor and of course it was right across from the loudest ice machine in the world, that would not stop after 15 minuets, and could be heard in the room. They changed the room to one on the third floor. This one had a running toilet. Back down to the desk and the clerk told us all the king rooms are in the same two lines, so we go to the ninth floor. This one you could hear the running toilet in the wall in the bathroom, but if you closed the door it was bearable. Thurs comes and the maintenance man comes to our room to hear the noise, and hears it, and says he will check all the toilets in the line to see which one it is and does something to our toilet. When we come back from Thanksgiving dinner (which was great and not in the hotel) the maintenance man tells us a long story about old pipes and plumbing and offer to change our room again, which we did. Four rooms later we found on that was pretty quiet with the bathroom door closed. The free parking is first come first serve we were lucky they were empty when we arrived and our car was parked till Fri. They 7.95 a day for mandatory internet and phone. The internet does not work in the rooms, I had to go to the Lobby Bar for access. The employees try to help but as I found out from the people that run the parking concession for this group of hotels, the General Manager is the cause of all the problems. On Fri. morning I spoke to the General Manager about getting a refund for Fri. Night as we were checking out and going home. He said he would check into it and call me. He never called I finally called him. He said he spoke to the maintenance man who told him he did not hear anything. The manager lied right to me, as I know the fellow heard the noise and changed our room. Bye the way he could have rented the room as 400000 people were expected for the weekend for a college rivalry game at the Super Dome. While I was checking out I told the Desk Clerk what happened and that her GM lied to me, and she he does that to everybody, and he is aware of the problems he just doesn’t do anything. The parking attendant got me the number to owners of the Hotel group and that none of the other Hotels are like this. Save your money don’t stay at this Hotel

I booked and paid for a room for 2 nights on priceline. When I checked in I was informed that I had to pay an additional $15.90. If the fee is mandatory, why don't they just include it in the room rate? Well, I know the answer. It's so they can advertise a lower rate on the internet but when you check in you get blind sided by an additional fee. I got scammed by The Queen and Crescent and Priceline. Be sure to read all the fine print.

The worst hotel, bar none, I have ever stayed in. Filthy, the internet doesn't work properly, the phones are a disaster... I can't say enough bad things about it.

I liked the location of the hotel! It was pretty quiet, even at night on the weekend! For the price you get, its a pretty decent hotel. I was there for 4 nights and I really do not have anything bad to say... minus house keeping coming late in the afternoon. I am used to them coming before noon. Also parking in downtown New Orleans is going to cost you. I paid $15 a night in the parking lot next to the hotel, but the actual hotel charges $30/night!

Can you say FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Their website shows pictures of a bar full of friends having drinks and a good time - well they must have drank everything, because when we got there to meet our friends, the bar was empty, like closed, - no glasses, no beer, no wine, nothing. There was a dirty rag laying on the counter of the bar and a empty coffee pot. The only people in the bar area were the unfortunate people trying to check in. The staff must hate their jobs - checkin was a nightmare, rooms were not as promised with double beds the wait was extemely long. The desk staff seemed to rather talk to one another than work on the problems the guest had, took 30 minutes to get from floor 9 to the lobby on the elevator - not good when you don't like elevators to start with. We had to carry all the luggage down by hand because there wasn't carts. Water run in our bathroom all night. The cleaning people were vacuuming outside our door before 8 a.m.-hitting the door in an effort to get us out??? The only good thing about this hotel was the valet attendant and the bell man that helped us when we arrived. They were sweet and helpful and should go to work at a hotel that deserves them, not this one.
